About Us

We use a mix of primitive and modern tools to create works of art that are built to last. Some of the tools used are over 100 years old and were passed down to Drew from his beloved grandfather. 

 DK Custom Woodwork Co. is owned by Drew Katchmar. He is a former Marine, former law enforcement officer, and former tactics instructor that has had a passion for woodworking for much of his life. He has now turned his dream into reality by doing what he loves & creating masterpieces full time.

We use both domestic and exotic hardwoods to create works of art. Some of our favorite woods to work with include: Black Limba, Wenge, Padauk, Purpleheart, Walnut, Maple, Birch, Red Narra and Zebrawood.
